It's quite not a surprise that it has been six month since this simple treasure of blog was updated. Oh well, there are a lot of probable reasons why is that so, which I don't really wanna give some focus so just read on okay =P

Yes! Knowing that it's been a while, surely there were a lot of good and awesome things happened within each one of us. I am not exactly sure what triggers me to start writing something in here but one thing I can confirm is that I was inspired to do so. Perhaps inspired by the love and the unspeakable joy currently roaming within the veins of my spirit together with Thy Holy Spirit.

Let's see how do I continue this.... Uhhmm.. yeah, so I've decided to step down from being the so-called "CG Leader" and I'm grateful to have Kenny rising up to the occasion. Ofcourse, I believe that it's not simply about him rising up but it is the Holy Spirit's works that made it happen. Arriving at such a decision was never easy for me, putting it into execution was even more challenging but again, I'm really thankful for God's amazing grace that it all came to pass. I'm sure that it will not be easy for Kenny but I trust and believe that he will be able to do it with the same God's amazing grace and his passion for it. There you go - something new... Kenny the new CG leader. =)

I guess it isn't just about Kenny's adjustment but also from each of my beloved dearies' adjustments and adaptation, not to mention my own personal adjustments..LOL. *winks* Yeah that's right, I realized that I have to do a few things within myself to be able to adapt to the change as well. Not really easy but I always take change as a challenge and the goal is to overcome it - always.

So, that's the first part of evolution! The second one is basically highlighting the existence of our new members of the family =) It's funny that we always tease each other that our CG have different generations included. Well, I'd say it's the reality and I'd say it's a good one! Why? Because we have more range of learning from each other. Normally the young ones learn from the not so young ones but I believe it should be vice versa. Sometimes, for us not so young ones, we need some inputs from younger ones for us to be reminded about the basics. Basics are important ya! =)

The last wonderful things happened were the engagement of Julie & Melvyn, and, Tze Han & Lay Ching. I personally have some valued memories with these two couples that I'm glad I had and I need to specially mention TH & LC. =) These couples for start, have a common denominator. However, God is really good and the Holy Spirit is really doing a good job in speaking deeply into each one's heart. You should know what I mean right? Message me if you wanna clear things up..LOL.

Soon, we'll have married couples in the "house", then with the new "babies" so to speak, indeed Shekinah is evolving and well essentially Imma say expanding. =) Well there's another couple in the house that is oh well you know... probably anticipated to go the same way JM and TL did! For the rest, I know that we're all hopeful and prayerful of good things yet to happen.

There's no such thing as perfect. Even each one of us sometimes come to a point of arguements, misunderstanding, hurting one another in "I dunno" way, etc. etc.... each of these imperfections are being molded and nurtured with the presence of one another together with the Holy Spirit, as we continue to choose to fix our eyes and our hearts to the author and perfecter of our faith - the Lord Jesus Christ!

Yeah, it's been a while since this precious blog was updated. Thanks to Yin, someone in the clan who doesn't really like "dull" moments..lol.. she normally finds it boring and took the initiative to give it a shot to blog in here once again ;)

After the Redang getaway, which will not happen again as a "CG Outing", lol.... everyone I believe had enjoyed it, however, some may have felt exhausted (maybe?). Well, normally it is whoever is the organizer *winks at Lay Ching* :P but I'd say generally - all had FUN!

Anyways, as the above title says so...allow me to do a little bit of recollection for the past "many" months in between.

Arcade all you can! (March '09) - So, a couple of weeks after Redang...we planned for an unlimited Arcade games as our CG Outing. Had dinner together first then off to One-Stop to play arcades.. Wohooo.. Check this pic out as everyone geared for Daytona..brooommm...

MAFIA (Matthew And Friends In Action), April '09 - It's our Good Friday celebration and everyone enjoyed it. It tackled the significance of the death of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. Here's a pic of Yin sharing her testimony :)

Shirley's Farewell (May'09) - happened somewhere first week of May. She decided to go Singapore and work there so we had organize a simple farewell dinner for her plus her birthday celebration and Felix's. Check this cute pic out! :)

Marcus & Tze Han's bday bash (May'09) - We did a simple surprise for the two guys through our ice breaker :)

Kid's Carnival (May '09) - Since 90% of Shekinah is in Children's ministry, most of them were involved in this event. Somehow, the "Shekinah CG" was a part of it selling hotdogs!

Jai-Ho Dance, CG Performance (May '09) - After so many weeks of practice, the thought of dancing JaiHo has come to pass last 31st of May :) Those were the days that Slumdog Millinaire movie was a fuzz as it won the Best Picture award! Here's the aftermath photo (there's a video of it, check it out in our facebook :P)

June '09? Nothing much in my calendar record. We laylo'ed a bit :P:P Errr.. not really I'd say because we were playing Captain Ball every Sunday afternoon during this month I guess... :)

EPCC Family Day (July '09) - It was a time of gathering together with the bigger scale of our spiritual family. We were the Green Team! =)

Aug '09 (yet another unforgettables) - Errr.. I'm not really sure what happened last August! LOL ahahaha...I thought I was a bit mushy but errrr.... when it was for real, I felt ackward :S (sheeesshh.) Nah, kidding aside.. it was really touching (until my bone marrow :P) Here you go a glimpse of it =)

Well, I'm kinda so looking forward to the BUKIT MERAH outing! Hope everyone is so too..

Weird! when the blog was first initiated, everyone was so excited about it.
Slowly it dies off.

The Legacy of Azuke!

Shekinah family commenced the first week of Random Gifts Exchange during the first Friday of November '08.

Indeed! It was fun for aLL of us bringing our individual "something red" gifts and doing some random draws! We opened the presents right after the gifts landed into each and everyone of our hands... there the codenames were all exposed too!

The CG was reaLLy fun and extra ordinary that night I should say. We had this, plus the come back of Felix then our CG famiLy photo session. Too bad though that Pastor Eddie and Si-maan were not around *sigh*...aint that really complete!

To top it aLL, the night became wacky and unforgettable when Felix opened his gift only to find out what a unique and out of the norm present that a "guy" can get. Guess watisit? It's a pack of "Carefree"...... you should all know what's that right? :P and the thing is...it was AZUKE who brought that gift! I can still remember how everyone bursted into laughter as soon as Felix showed his present! Then someone said.. what a welcome present for him! Btw, welcome back Felix!

After that, everybody was guessing who is Azuki already! LOL.... and some had the idea to be cheeky for the next random gifts exchange, category is "something soft". Nyay! Now, it's a bit scary to receive some gifts already huh! With the experience, we've even come to a conclusion that it's like the Mafia game we had in BF whereby we are trying to know who is Azuki! Wah, a sequeL of the Mafia game episode huh!

Azuki - whoever you are.... you've just created a legacy in our Shekinah CG family! LOL. Now everyone can't wait on the 24th of December to kacau you more! Silly! =P you better be there! We shall cook good food for Christmas eve dinner! Would you want a Japanese cuisine? :P

Looking back for the past couple of months, indeed shekinah cg family is on the move! Wohoo! All gLory to HIM! =)

Having a magnificent GTT (Gua Tempurung Trip) recentLy, everyone indeed had fun and enjoyed the bonding inside the cave and not to mention the physical adventure challenges each one has overcome in unity! It's so funny that even amidst of all the brainstorming preparations during that time, indirectLy....the "Redang isLand getaway" planning has already started impLicitLy.. right Lay Ching? :P

Not to mention shekinah's bLissfuL BBQ by the beach and sleep over-night last Raya holidays, whereby everybody was blessed and had known one another more explicitly ya? :D Most have managed to chill by the seaside and even experienced to bump their bodies pLaying "taboo"... and who were the two Mafia ladies again who killed everyone in that ever mind boggling "Mafia" game... Ofcourse not to forget about the ever classic good ol' days "fLying the kite" thingy!

Well...who can ever forget the Tai-Ping zoo and Tai-Ping Lake picnic by the rain as our Merdeka outing huh?! :D We got the chance to once more stare at the animaLs that God created as well as the beautiful serene lake in Tai-Ping! and oh yeah with matching cool wind breeze and raindrops fallin' in our heads :P

But I'd say... above aLL the happenings mentioned? The water baptism of one and the salvation of the two of our dearies stand out the most...in our hearts and where eLse? In heaven! :)

Our Euwing has decided to undergo water baptism last mid-July, whiLe on August and September...our dear Yin-yin and LayChing accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour! Hallelujah, Praise the Lord! :D

God must be smiLing from up there :)

Lord, we pray that You will continue to be with us and give us Your guidance for us to grow more with You and then with one another. As we progress, please give everyone that urge and desire to draw all unto You!

Magnificient G.T

Once again Shekinah CG threw out a wonderful and challenging activity on Deepavali Day which was the Gua Tempurung Trip [G.T.T]. Gua Tempurung is one of the magnificent caves in the Peninsular Malaysia. It was truly a wonderful trip yet challenging for all. There were 11 of us who went in for GT [Grand Tour]. We 1st went to water trail and we walked in icy water for almost 2 hours!!!..We walked miles and miles on wet and rocky trails, climbed muddy slopes, slided down muddy slopes, snake-crawling, squeezed ourselves through a tiny little hole..well it is not that small but big enough for a human body size. As we went deeper into the cave, there were only light from torch lights guiding us as it was in total pitch black.Some torch lights even ran out of batteries which only have us to rely on others. There were scenarios whereby we helped each other whenever we reached roadblocks along the way. Thanks to good Samaritans!!! We were happy to see light when we reach the end of the caves. We cheered and sat in the icy water with relieved although we were drenched out. Then the guide told us, "Baru setengah jalan" (Just half way of entire trail). We were speechless.Soon after, we started walking again. We returned into the water trail and climbed up slope half way to take the stairs. Then the guide told us that we have to climb 1000 steps up and down the staircase. Really tested my stamina and others. We managed to complete the stairs climbing.It was very tiring for me but happy that i managed to complete it. From the top we managed to see gigantic stalactites and it was in well-lit area.Amazed to witness the creation of God. When we went out from the cave, finally we were able to see sunlight again, and we made it!!! We completed our GT[Grand Tour] which took us about 3 hours within the cave. After cleaning up, we moved on to Ipoh for our lunch at 3pm!! All of us were hungry as if we could swallow a chicken. Then we headed back to our dearly Penang island. Thumbs up to the organizers and all that make our GT trip possible!!!

Conception & Birth...

Approximately 17 months have passed and it has so far shown a significant growth inwardly and outwardly. And this is one of the tangible results of it - Shekinah-CG's blog! :D

About more than a year ago, Abundance grew and arrived to a need of conceiving. A need was recognized in order to produce a more good kind of fruits and to have a greater harvest as per His greatest commandment. Somebody was informed about the conception and was asked to lead and take care of the anticipated baby.

While there were a lot intimidations and uncertain questions as to who, where, how and some "what ifs".... the revelation of being focused unto Him emerged above all, as the way to it's birth and eventually....growth. And with this was a principle, which was deeply meditated: "For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.” - Romans 11:36

And so after so much of encouragements, sincere seeking and prayers, waiting, and awesome encounters - Shekinah was born.

As you follow after this blog, may you be blessed and be encouraged! May you start to see every situation that you may have from a different perspective. A kind of perspective that is above one's rationale thinking and will come out from the inner core of your heart instead.

Above all, our very desire is to have that emptiness within you...be filled with the only one who can really fill it completely and perfectly! And this leads us to usher you in knowing and believing that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross to save you from death for you to have an everlasting Life =)

To Him be all the glory!
